New Developments in EN Corrosion Protection

For your requirement of electroless nickel plating chemiclas contact us at 9843019701 or email to info@essess.trading

About This Webinar
Electroless deposition of nickel-phosphorus alloy (Ni-P) coatings is very popular in many industrial applications due to its unique properties such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance, non-magnetism, improved micro-hardness and coating thickness uniformity.

Due to its amorphous character and passivity, the corrosion resistance of these coatings, especially of high-P EN, is excellent and in many environments even better than that of pure nickel or chromium alloys.

Global regulations have restricted the use of heavy metals as stabilizers and brighteners in electroless nickel processes, so today's new generation of high-P EN processes use metal-free or toxic heavy metal-free stabilizers. These are not only environmentally friendly alternatives, but also offer improved process parameters and coating properties in terms of deposition rate, P content, internal stresses, tribological properties and corrosion resistance.

With a strong commitment to sustainability, Atotech continues to pioneer the conversion of the coating industry to environmentally sound processes and currently offers a complete range of electroless nickel processes that meet and exceed all national environmental regulations. Therefore, we are pleased to present in this webinar our latest development of ELV, ROHS and WEEE compliant, highly corrosion resistant EN processes meeting the ever-increasing industrial requirements.
Agenda
  • Corrosion of EN coatings: Mechanism and test methods
  • Factors that mainly influence the corrosion protection of EN coatings
  • Corrosion performance of EN processes
  • New highly corrosion resistant processes from Atotech

For More Information Contact us email us at info@essess.trading or Mobile 9843019701

Hell is a testing tool, or a miniature electroplating cell, in which an electroplating solution is evaluated across the range of operating conditions. This video will show you how to run a hull cell.

Please see the following videos one by one..

Hull Cell Description video 1

Interpreting Hull Cell Panels video 2

Interpreting Hull Cell Panels video 3

Nickel plating baths should be evaluated using either brass hull cell panels or the standard zinc coated, steel hull cell panels used to evaluate many other plating baths. In this video we discuss the proper way to interpret nickel plated hull cell panels.

Interpreting Zinc Plated Hull Cell Panels video 4

Zinc plating baths of all types, alkaline or acid demonstrate similar characteristics when evaluated using a hull cell. In this video we explain how to properly interpret zinc plated hull cell panels.
